Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an adverse effect of condensed water, in an intake manifold in which a starting end of an intake manifold side PCV passage is opened at an upper part of a flange, and which makes a terminal end of the intake manifold side PCV passage and a head-side PCV passage which is opened an intake-side face of a cylinder head communicate with each other.SOLUTION: A head-side PCV passage 15 and an intake manifold side PCV passage 16 take downwardly-inclined postures toward an intake-side face 11. An auxiliary PCV passage 18 which communicates with the intake manifold side PCV passage 16 at an upper end, and communicates with a surge tank part 4 at a lower end is formed at an intake manifold. Even if condensed water 27 is produced in the PCV passages 15, 16, the condensed water 27 leaks to the surge tank part 4 from the auxiliary PCV passage 18. Accordingly, the condensed water 27 is frozen in a connecting part between the head-side PCV passage 15 and the intake manifold side PCV passage 16, and it can be prevented that an adverse effect is imparted to an engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
