PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easier judgment of whether or not to be fixed by a method wherein a latch member and a holding member to let it be engaged therewith are included and a contrast color is so arranged for both the latch member as to make the existence of the latch member visible at a locked position when the parts of the latch member and the holding member are locked. SOLUTION: A surgical latch device 100 comprising a polymer material includes a holding member 104 and a latch member 101 having a base part and latches 102 and 102. The latches 102 and 102 elongate almost parallel with each other and almost vertically from both ends of the base end and each thereof is provided with a protrusion 108 on a shaft part 106 thereof. When passing through a hole 103 of the holding member 104 by way of a tissue of a human body, each latch 102 is deflected but when a protrusion surface 112 for linking is overlapped and mated with a locking surface 114, it is returned to the original orientation. At this point, to facilitate judgement of whether the latch member 101 is located at a locked position or not, a contrast color is applied for the protrusion 108 to make it comparable with the locking surface 114 and/or the hole 103.
