Abstract:
To provide a surgical instrument in which holding of a surgical member is hardly released, even when receiving strong impact in an instrument longitudinal direction.SOLUTION: A broach handle 10 being a surgical instrument comprises: a holding tool body 1 which is a first member; a holding tool sub body 2 for operation which is a second member; and a first pin 3 and a second pin 4 as coupling shaft members for coupling the holding tool body 1 and the holding tool sub body 2 so as to relatively rotate. The holding tool body 1 has a first holding part 1a for holding a surgical member at one end part thereof, the holding tool sub body 2 has a second holding part 2a for sandwiching the surgical member between itself and the first holding part for holding the surgical member. At least one of the holding tool body 1 and holding tool sub boody 2 forming the surgical instrument has a lock mechanism composed of a slider 5, a spring 6, and a spring receiver 7 being arranged at a position closer to the other end part side than the coupling shaft members. The lock mechanism restricts relative rotation of the holding tool body 1 and holding tool sub body 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
