To provide a surgical navigation device with which change in displaying a tomographic image induced by synchronizing to shake of hands or noise can be avoided.
This surgical navigation device comprises a three-dimensional positioning posture measuring means that measures the three dimensional positioning posture of a subject and surgical implements, a tomographic image information memory means that memorizes the tomographic image information on a subject, a positioning posture memory means that memorizes the positioning postures of the subject and the surgical implements, a positioning posture comparing means that compares the positioning posture information from the three- dimensional positioning posture measuring means and the positioning posture information from the positioning posture memory means, a tomographic image extract means that extracts tomographic images from information on the memorized subject by use of the three-dimensional positioning postures for the measured subject and the surgical implements, a projection image adding means that adds a projection image of the surgical implements to the extracted tomographic image, an image displaying means that displays the tomographic image added with the projection image. Extraction of the tomographic image from the tomographic image information memory means based on the output from the positioning posture memory means is continuously performed.
