Abstract:
To provide an easily manufactured surgical treatment product.
This surgical treatment product is provided with an alginate fiber core 1 enclosed with a support sheath 2 formed by a structural member having permeability to biological fluid and biocompatibility with a wound. Both the core 1 and the sheath 2 are extended in a continuous layer of the alginate fiber and drainage slots 7, 8 are formed between them. The surgical treatment product has wettability to be applied to a deep wound.
