To provide surveillance control techniques with which, together with shooting with a surveillance camera, mental pressure is given to a malicious intruder and a crime can be suppressed as a result.
A surveillance control apparatus 20, when detecting that a moving object such as human being or a vehicle intrudes a monitoring area that can be shot with the surveillance camera 11 based on an image shot with the surveillance camera 11, controls a turning part and the surveillance camera 11, and causes the surveillance camera 11 to trace the moving object to shoot the moving object. The surveillance control apparatus 20 then stores the shot image into an image memory 24 and outputs it to a projector 30. The projector 30 projects thereon the image output from the surveillance control apparatus 20.
