PURPOSE: To accomplish soft longitudinal rigidity and proper longitudinal force and steering characteristic in a suspension of an automobile comprising front and rear lateral links and trailing links, wherein the front lateral link is integratedly fixed to trailing link so as to form an A-shaped arm.

CONSTITUTION: The front lateral link part 12 of an A-shaped arm comprising a trailing link part 11 and a front lateral link part 12 integrally fixed thereto is formed by a plate spring member, whereby when the longitudinal force acts on a wheel 6, the front lateral link part 12 formed by the plate spring member is deflected or elongated to obtain soft longitudinal rigidity suitable for improving the riding comfortableness, or when the wheel is pulled backward by braking, the plate spring member is deflected so that the wheel 6 is changed in the angle of toe in the wheel toe-in direction.
