To ensure braking force by smoothly changing a wheel load at the time of full braking such as a case in which a front wheel abuts against a bumper rubber, in a vehicle in which reduction in the braking force acting on a vehicle from a rear wheel is restrained or prevented at the full braking.
When a full braking such as a case in which a front wheel abuts against a bumper rubber is detected from a time differential value of a vehicle body longitudinal acceleration for example, a pitch rigidity is increased by gradually increasing damping coefficient (c) with respect to a longitudinal speed component generated in a fluid pressure cylinder interposed between a rear wheel and the vehicle body, in accordance with a magnitude of an average longitudinal acceleration. Further, a wheel load fluctuation is smoothly connected, thereby preventing braking force of the rear wheel from decreasing rapidly.
