Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enlarge the degree of freedom for determining suspension geometry, by interposing actuators for driving a knuckle between the holder plate fixed to a suspension member and the knuckle fitted to the holder plate. CONSTITUTION:In the holder plate 25 having a hole 25a which is fixed to the flange 24a of a bearing holder 80, the supporting spindle 28a projected from a knuckle 28 is rockably pierced via a ball joint 27 fitted in the hole 25a. And in the interior of the hollow hole 28b of the knuckle 28, a spindle 31 and a hub 32 are rotatably inserted via a bearing 33 respectively, and further both 31, 32 are tightened to a suspension 31 by means of a nut 34. Furthermore, between the holder plate 26 and the hub 32, two hydraulic actuators 41a and 41b are interposed at equal spaces in the front and rear direction of a vehicle. And the knuckle 26 is driven by respective hydraulic actuators 41a, 41b, to adjust the wheel alignment of wheels.
