Title:
SUSPENSION DEVICE FOR ELEVATOR CAR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3281168
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To hang down an elevator car or a balance weight right down without dropping the strength of a guide rail by furnishing a through hole in a hanging tool fixed to the pit top part of a pair of elevator guide rails, and mounting a shackle in the hole for lifting the car or balance weight.
CONSTITUTION: A through hole is provided in the plank in the upper part of each of a pair of guide rails 2. A hanging tool 8 supported by this through hole is fixed to each guide rail 2 using a bolt. The hanging tool 8 is provided with a hole for hanging, to which a shackle 4 is mounted. One end of a wire rope 12 is coupled with an upper beam of an elevator car 1, and the other end is coupled with the shackle 4. A limit switch 15 is installed on a mounting plate 14 secured to the upper part of each guide rail 2, and a weight 16 is attached to the tip of the switch 15. When the hanging tool 8 is mounted on the guide rail 2, the weight 16 is lifted, and the limit switch 15 is actuated so that the elevator control circuit is separated, and the car can not run any more.
