To provide a suspension device for a trolley wire with a damper function free from frequent maintenance, inspection and member replacement, which has a simple structure and can be easily manufactured.
The suspension device 1 includes a damper 2 between a hanger 3 connected with a catenary wire M, and an ear 4 for clamping a trolley wire T. A movable member 6 is inserted in the cylinder 5 of the damper 2. A rod 7 is extended from the movable member 6, and projected from one end of the cylinder 5 so as to be freely protruded and retreated. A spring 8 is interposed between the cylinder 5 and the movable member 6. A friction member 9 is supported by the movable member 6 via a spring member 10. The friction member 9 is always brought into pressure-contact with the inner face of the cylinder 5, and relative displacement of the cylinder 5 with the movable member 6, that is, vertical vibration of the trolley wire T, is braked by friction resistance.
