Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent an occupant from feeling uncomfortable by predicting the vibration input to be transmitted from the unsprung at a rear wheel to a vehicle body to achieve the canceling control of the vibration of the rear wheel and the forward wheel, and changing the control gain of the forward wheel according to the pitching quantity of the low frequency components of the forward wheel to reduce the low frequency pitching.
CONSTITUTION: Vertical acceleration of a vehicle body Ga-Gc, the strokes HFL, HFR, and the vehicle speed V are read to obtain the calculated acceleration GFL-GRR and pitch angular acceleration or right and left forward wheels θ''. Then, the speed ZFL, ZFR of the unsprung motion of the forward wheels are estimated to calculate the delay time τ and the correction value Δτ by the time when the rear wheels reach the road surface where the forward wheels pass, and these data are stored in the register. The speed of the unsprung motion of the rear wheels is obtained from the speed of the unspring motion before the time period of τ, and is integrated to calculate the displacement ZRL, ZRR of the unsprung. The predicted control force and the control force of the forward wheels are calculatd from the vibration input from the unsprung of the rear wheel based thereon, and the low frequency pitching is reduced by the control of the forward wheels and the predicted control of the rear wheels.
