Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a suture material for medical care which generates neither deviation nor rotation when an automatic suture tool is inserted and which can surely prevent air from leaking when it is used for surgical operation of e.g. the lungs.
CONSTITUTION: A suture material 1 for medical care is constituted by stitching together a main suture material 2 consisting of an absorptive polyglycolic acid felt and a shape holding substrate 3 consisting of a plastic sheet.
