To improve the reliability of a compressor by forming a coating of a solid lubricant comprising at least one of molybdenum disulfide, tungsten disulfide and graphite on an interference face for preventing the rotation of a piston made of aluminium used as a base material.
A double-end piston 6 comprises an interference face 6d for preventing rotation, and the interference face 6d is applied with molybdenum disulfide and graphite selected as the solid lubricant with a polyamideimide resin, and heated to be hardened to form a coating. As the piston 6 comprises the coating of the solid lubricant on the interference face 6d for preventing rotation which is apt to be seized, the superior seizing resistance can be ensured. Further the lubrication coatings formed on a sliding contact face 6a and the interference face 6d of the piston 6 are treated by the transferal method, the coating can easily be formed without increasing the manhour even when they are the coatings of the kinds different from each other.
