Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sweet potato seedling transplanter in which a seedling transport member for transporting sweet potato seedlings and a seedling-planting member for planting the seedlings transported with the seedling transport member in a field are disposed in a machine frame equipped with a travel device and a steering wheel, which has good workability that a worker can see seedling-planted states, even while the worker supplies the seedlings, and which planting failures are less than those by conventional machines.
SOLUTION: The above seedling transport member 3 has a plurality of seedling- receiving portion 26... for receiving sweet potato seedlings N in a posture for longitudinally directing the stem portions k of the seedlings N and disposed in the seedling- transporting direction D, and has an upper laterally transporting portion 3a, a downward transporting portion 3b and an upward transporting portion 3c. The above seedling-planting member 4 is connected to a driving portion 19 for upward or downward moving a seedling-planting action portion 4a, and the seedling-planting action portion 4a of the seeding planting member 4 acts on the rear end of the received seedling N received in the seedling-receiving portion 26 transported from the downward transport portion 3b from the rear side of the seedling-receiving portion 26, thus planting the seedling N in a field.
