Title:
SWING ANALYZING DEVICE FOR GOLF CLUB
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH08224332
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate a long term maintenance and management and hold a swing analyzing device in the same operating condition for a long period of time by calculating the speed using a plurality of combinations of analyzing devices composed of a plurality of sensors, and calculating the angle by these sensors arranged in a matrix form.

CONSTITUTION: The first to fifth sensors 1-5 are installed in a mat for golf training, and among them the first and fourth 1, 4 are arranged in an arc of circle having a ball supporting part 6 as the enter. When a ball is struck by a club, the club face passes over the first and second sensors 1, 2, and therefore, the speed can be calculated from the time, at which the club passed over the first sensor 1, to the time passing over the second sensor 2. The first and the second sensor 1, 2 ar formed from a plurality of sensor elements, and therefore, it is possible to know at which angle the club head has come to the reference line 7 from which sensor element of the sensors 1, 2 the club head has passed over.
