Abstract:
To achieve a high absorption function of a load in the horizontal direction in a swing arm while ensuring torsional stiffness of the swing arm sufficiently.SOLUTION: A swing arm 51 for a saddle-riding type vehicle includes: a right arm 53 extending the right side of the saddle-riding type vehicle backward from a pivot part 52; a left arm 54 extending the left side of the saddle-riding type vehicle backward from the pivot part 52; and a cross part 56 connecting between front parts of the right arm 53 and the left arm 54. In each of the right arm 53 and the left arm 54, at a right rear arm part 61 and a left rear arm part 71 which are located rearward of a connection part of the cross part 56, there are formed inward bending parts 63, 73 bent so that a part of each of the right rear arm part 61 and the left rear arm part 71 is projected inward in the horizontal direction of the saddle-riding type vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
