Abstract:
PURPOSE:To maintain the gas flow rate nearly constant at the time when shut- off valve is closed by disposing a swirl gas shut-off valve on the delivery side of a cylindrical valve body which is connected to the outlet etc. of a gas container valve, as well as a gas flow rate limiter valve on the inlet side of the cylindrical valve body. CONSTITUTION:This swirl gas release prevention valve 10 which is connected to the delivery side of a gas container valve attached to the top of a propane gas container has a cylindrical valve body 20, shut-off valve 30 to shut off the swirl gas, and a flow rate limiter valve 40. Under normal conditions of gas usage, the shut-off valve 30 and the flow rate limiter valve 40 are maintained to open by means of springs 31, 47. As the gas source pressure rises to cause the differential pressure of the gas pressure to become large across the up- and down-stream sides of the flow rate limiter valve 40, the flow rate limiter valve 40 is pushed to overcome the spring 47 to reduce the opening of an inlet 21 so as to maintain the gas flow rate to be constant. At the same time, the shutoff valve 30 also overcomes the spring 31 to move itself, and said valve 30 is ultimately closed.
