To provide a switch fixed in automobiles for detecting opening/closing of their doors which realizes stable electrical connection between a junction of a terminal and a chassis.

A switch 19 for automobiles is constructed by forming a tooth shape junction 13B, which protrudes outside a case 11 and resiliently contacts to the rear face of a metal chassis 18, in an individual terminal 13. Consequently, when a switch 19 for automobiles is fixed on a chassis 18, the junction 13B rotatably slides in resiliently contacting on the rear face of a metal chassis 18, and the junction 13B not only removes an oxide film, painting or the like, but also realize stable electrical connection between the junction 13B in the individual terminal 13 and the chassis 18 by making a plurality of teeth of the junction 13B certainly contacting the chassis 18.
