To provide a switch device that can switch an electrical connection state in accordance with an operation state and can be miniaturized.

A metal plate 1 is disposed at one side of right and left directions L and R with respect to the plate surfaces of metal plates 2 and 3, and metal plates 4 and 5 are disposed at the other side. The metal plates 1 to 5 are fixed to a housing 8 with the longitudinal direction thereof being set to the up-and-down direction so that the plate surfaces are not overlapped with one another. Contact portions 1a to 5 are provided to the upper end portions of the metal plates 1 to 5, and electrode portions are provided to the lower end portions thereof. The contact portions 2a, 3a of the metal plates 2 and 3 extend in the right and left directions L and R with respect to the plate surfaces, and folded in V-shape. By operating an operation knob 6, operators 6d and 6e push the contact portions 2a and 3a of the metal plates 2 and 3 so that the contact portions 2a and 3a make seesaw motion with the folded portions 2g and 3g as fulcrums, whereby the contact/separation state of the contact portions 2a and 3a of the metal plates 2a and 3a to/from the contact portion 1a of the metal plate 1 and the contact portions 4a and 5a of the metal plates 4 and 5 is switched.
