Abstract:
To efficiently propagate vibration of a vibration element to a finger of a user.SOLUTION: A switch device 1 comprises: a display panel 7 having a substantially tabular substrate 9 and a skin 13 disposed on the front side of the substrate 9; and an electrostatic sensor 19 which detects the approach of a finger from the front side to a switch region 13c of the skin 13 of the display panel 7. The substrate 9 is provided with a flexible region 9c which is more bendable in the thickness direction of the substrate 9 than a region on the outer peripheral side thereof. The switch region 13c is a region, of the skin 13, which overlaps the flexible region 9c of the substrate 9. To the flexible region 9c of the substrate 9, there is connected a vibration element 31 for generating vibration in the thickness direction of the display panel 7 when the approach of a finger from the front side to the switch region 13c of the skin 13 has been detected by the electrostatic sensor 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
