Abstract:
The present invention provides a switching element with which it is possible to supply sufficient electric power to fuse a soluble conductor to a heat-generating object, even when the switching element is inserted in a weak electrical current path. The present invention has a switching circuit (2) and a heat-generating circuit (3), the switching circuit (2) having a first electrode (11) and a second electrode (12) that are adjacent to one another, a third electrode (13) that is side by side with the first electrode (11), and a first soluble conductor (14) connected in a spanning manner to the first electrode (11) and the third electrode (13); and the heat-generating circuit (3) having a first heat-generating object (14), a heat-generating lead-out electrode (23) connected to one end of the first heat-generating object (14), and a first heat-generating-object electrode (24) connected to the other end of the first heat-generating object (14), the heat-generating circuit (3) being electrically independent from the switching circuit (2). The first heat-generating object (14) generates heat, thereby fusing the first soluble conductor (14), electrically cutting off the first electrode (11) and the third electrode (13) from each other, and short-circuiting the first electrode (11) and the second electrode (12) via the soluble conductor.
