To provide a switch of which the on-off operation can be controlled from an total controlling unit even though its on-off state is seeable, and also provide an image forming device therewith.
In a switch 11 which includes contact points making on-off operation for an electric circuit and an electromagnet 13 in a case 12, and also includes a handle 14 disposed in the case 12 switching the on-off of the contact points by operation from an external position; permanent magnets 15 are fixed in the handle 14 so that the same pole of the permanent magnets 15 faces the electromagnet 13, thereby the on-off operation of the contact points are made by attracting or repulsing of the permanent magnets by switching the direction of a current passing through the electromagnet 13.
