To provide a switch serving as a switch for detecting a force applied externally, having a flexibility as a whole, and being realized at a low cost with a simple structure.

This switch 1 is constituted with a tube formed with a skin comprising a flexible conductor film 2, flexible insulators 4, 4 joined to the both ends of the conductor film 2, a flexible conductor film 3 joined to the insulators 4, 4 at the both ends to oppose to the conductor film 2. When a force is applied to the switch 1 externally, the conductor film 2, the conductor film 3, and the insulators 4, 4 are bent and deformed, and the conductor film 2 and the conductor film 3 come in contact to communicate electrically, thereby enabling to detect the existence of an external force by detecting an electric resistance between the conductor film 2 and the conductor film 8.
