A switch comprises: a switch housing 3 in which a terminal block 11 and a cover 13 are welded and which has a fixed connecting point 15 therein; a moving block 5 which is movable with respect to the switch housing 3 and has a boss 29 for fitting a manual shaft of an automatic change gear therewith and a movable connecting point 35 which corresponds to the fixed connecting point 15; and elastic seal rings 7, 9 which are interposed between internal and external peripheral faces of the terminal block 11, the cover 13 and the boss 29. The switch is also characterized in that: the cover 13 is formed of a laser-permeable material, the terminal block 11 is formed of a laser-unpermeable material, and thermal welding parts 17 which are formed by a laser beam at the external peripheral side are circularly formed at the terminal block 11 and the cover 13 which are automatically aligned with respect to the moving block 5 by elastic forces of the seal rings 7, 9, thus connecting the terminal block and the cover, and fixing the alignment.
