Title:
SWITCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0325811
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the width of a switch to make the switch compact by foreing a terminal part to be connected to an outside conductor of a fixed contact and a tongue part having a movable contact and lug parts for connecting both the terminal part and the tongue part with one flat plate, and folding the lug part to form a fixed contact.

CONSTITUTION: A flat fixed contact 13 consists of a rectangular terminal part 13G to be connected to an outside conductor, a rectangular tongue part 13A spaced from the terminal part 13G and lug parts 13H for connecting both the terminal part 13G and the tongue part 13A. They are formed by press-processing one flat plate. The lug parts 13H are folded along the short dashed lines D of both ends 13C and 13D to obtain a fixed contact 13, and central parts 13B forming the top parts are formed between both the ends 13c and 13B of the lug parts 13H of the fixed contact 13. Since the width of the folded lug parts 13H is as same as the thickness of the fixed contact 13, the width of a switch itself can be reduced.
