Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching regulator which enables large output supply though it can avoid a size enlargement of a smoothing capacitor, and which can avoid low life and further can drive load continuously.
SOLUTION: A switching regulator comprises a boost chopper circuit A which comprises a plurality of inductances 2, 3, 4, and 5 connected in parallel with a DC power source so as to boost the voltage of the DC power; diodes 6, 7, 8, and 9 for commutation connected each to these output side; switching elements 10, 11, 12, and 13 for short-circuiting the junction between each inductance and each diode with the DC power source; and a smoothing capacitor 14 connected in series to the confluence output part of the plural diodes, a control circuit 15 for controlling the plural switching elements, and load 16 connected in parallel with this smoothing capacitor. The plural switching elements are operated repeatedly, and delayed in order in specified cycles.
