PURPOSE: To force-feed lubricant to a bearing means at high pressure by including an inner annular member, an outer annular member, a bearing means, and a lubricant reservoir means, and causing a pump means to effect a peristaltic action in a hose.

CONSTITUTION: A swivel joint is provided with an inner annular member 1 connected to a first pipe, an outer annular member 2 coaxial with the inner annular member 1 and connected to a second pipe, a bearing member 3 for positioning the inner and outer annular members 1, 2 so as to be relatively rotatable with respect to each other, a lubricant reservoir means connecting a lubricant reservoir to the bearing means 3, and a pump means for force-feeding lubricant. The pump means effects a peristaltic action in a hose 40 as a result of relative rotation between the inner and outer annular members 1, 2, thereby causing the lubricant to be force-fed from the hose 40 to the bearing means. As a result, the lubricant can be surely force-fed to the bearing between the inner and outer members at high pressure.
