Abstract:
PURPOSE: To read an optically encoded label of many sets of resolution by two or more sets of optical resolution and to store two or more channels of optically encoded information.
CONSTITUTION: Low resolution information is encoded to plural large-sized cells 12 arranged in a prescribed geometrical pattern. Each large-sized cell 12 has plural small-sized cells 14 for storage of high resolution information. High and low resolution data are detected and read by the method and device which encode both high resolution data and low resolution data.
