Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject apparatus capable of easily selecting the path of an unmanned mobile vehicle and free from influence of noise by detecting the phase deviation time between a code series generated by an unmanned mobile vehicle and a code series generated on the ground and calculating the position of the unmanned mobile vehicle from the detected value. CONSTITUTION:A means for generating electromagnetic oscillation wave having the same carrier frequency, a means for generating different plural series of false-noise code series varying at a high speed and an information modulating means for diffusing and modulating the electromagnetic oscillation waves with false-noise code series different from each other by the paths are placed on the ground. An unmanned mobile vehicle is provided with a means for selectively generating a false-noise code series code-synchronized with the plural series of false-noise code series different from each other and placed on the ground, a means for detecting the electromagnetic oscillation wave diffusion-modulated with the false-noise code series on the path and a selection and detection means for discriminating an electromagnetic oscillation wave diffusing and modulating the same false-noise code series as the one generated by itself among the detected electromagnetic oscillation waves. A specific path is selected from plural paths and the unmanned mobile vehicle is automatically driven along the selected path.
