PURPOSE: To enable continuous processing of piercing, notching and other working, and enhance the job efficiency, by transferring the work through gear group, transfer roller, and other parts, and processing by means of sliding elements and other parts which are kept at the same speed as the work through said gear group and crankshaft.
CONSTITUTION: The work W is held by feed roller 8 and auxiliary feed roller 10 and forced forward in the direction of arrow through gears 3 to 9 by the same motor by way of a belt pulley 1. Through a gear 11 having a proper number of pins P studded which are free to fit into cams c provided with grooves d, and spur gears 12, 13, 15, due to rotations of crankshafts 16, 14 arranged in upper and lower rows, sliding elements 19, 20 are caused to move in the vertical and lateral directions by the same distance, so that an oscillating body K moves reciprocally in the lateral direction between frame bodies 23, 24 by means of support shafts 21, 23. Since the lateral moving speed of the oscillating body K is synchronized with the moving speed of the work W, the work W is pierced or otherwise processed at the same speed as the tool 25 and supporting body 26. Therefore, the intermittent process in the conventional method becomes the continuous process, so that the job efficiency may be enhanced.
