Title:
SYNTHESIS OF AROMATIC CARBOXYLIC ACID ZINC SALT AND HEAT-SENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL PRODUCED BY USING THE ZING SALT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH05345742
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a heat-sensitive recording material having excellent solvent- resistance, especially the stability of the non-image part.

CONSTITUTION: An aromatic carboxylic acid zinc salt is synthesized by the salt-exchange reaction of an aromatic carboxylic acid alkali metal salt with an inorganic zinc compound. In the above process, zinc sulfate is used as the inorganic zinc compound. A heat-sensitive recording material is obtained by using the aromatic carboxylic acid zinc salt as a color-developing agent.
