Abstract:
To synthesize ammonia in a mild condition from a nitrogen molecule in the ambient air and steam; and to prevent generation of carbon dioxide in the synthetic reaction.SOLUTION: An integration (composite) is formed of triiron tetraoxide particles which are solid catalysts, and fine particle titanium dioxide which is a photocatalyst, and an interface between both particles is formed, and cooled to -10°C or lower, and then the integration surface is covered with a thin film of water, and irradiated with a beam with a wavelength of 350-2,000 nm containing ultraviolet light, or an incandescent lamp.
