To provide a synthetic fiber treatment composition which may impart an excellent feeling such as a smoothness, resilience, etc., to synthetic fibers, especially waddings made of synthetic fibers.
The synthetic fiber treatment composition essentially comprises (A) an amino group-containing polyorganosiloxane with a high amino group content wherein the molecular ends are hindered with a group of formula I [wherein R is a (non)substituted 120C monovalent hydrocarbon group or a hydroxyl group, provided that ≥80 mol% of the total R's is a 1-10C divalent hydrocarbon group; R2 is a 1-10C divalent hydrocarbon group; R3 and R4 are each a hydrogen atom or a (non)substituted 1-20C monovalent hydrocarbon; a is an integer of 0-5; p is an integer of 0-2; q is an integer of 0-3; r is 0 or 1; and (p+q+r)=3] and (B) an amino group-containing polyorganosiloxane with a low amino group content or an amino group-free polyorganosiloxane.
