Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the synthetic method of a β-lactam in the presence of high-temperature and high-pressure water, and a manufacturing method of the β lactam.
SOLUTION: This synthetic method of the β-lactam is characterized in that the β-lactam is synthesized by reacting a β-amino acid in the presence of high- temperature and high-pressure water. In this case, characteristically, β-lactam is rapidly synthesized by cyclizing the β-amino acid under the condition that the water temperature is 200°C or higher and the water pressure is 10 MPa or higher. The manufacturing method of the β-lactam is characterized in that the β-lactam is synthesized by reacting the β-amino acid in the presence of the high-temperature and high-pressure water and then separated and purified with a separating agent for column separation.
