Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the adhesion of algae to keep a high transparency for a long time by incorporating N-dimethyl-N'-phenol-N'-(fluorodichloromethylthio)- sulfonam-ide in a dust-proof resin film provided at least one surface of a synthetic resin film.

CONSTITUTION: An agricultural synthetic resin coating material is prepared by incorporating N-dimethyl-N'-phenol-N'-(fluorodichloromethylthio)-sulfonam-ide in a dust-proof resin film provided at least one surface of a synthetic resin film. As the synthetic resin film, a vinyl chloride resin and a ethylene resin are preferable from the standpoints of resistance to weather, light transmittance, strength, profitability, and others, or a polyvinyl chloride is the most effective. The dust-proof resin film is prepared from an acrylic resin, a fluorine-containing resin, a urethane resin, or the like. The N-dimethyl-N'-phenol-N'-(fluorodi- chloromethylthio)-sulfonamide is contained in the dust-proof resin film in the ratio of 0.05-10% per 100pts.wt. of a film forming resin. If less than 0.05%, the adhesion of algae cannot be prevented; if more than 10%, the film is deterio rated in weatherability as well as dust-proof properties.
