To provide a container made of synthetic resin that can suppress the bottom from giving way even if the bottom part is thin-walled.SOLUTION: A container 1 made of synthetic resin is bottle-shaped, the bottom part 40 of the container 1 made of synthetic resin is of a petaloid shape in which multiple leg parts 42 and multiple valley parts 43 are alternately arranged in the circumferential direction around a central part 41, each of the leg parts 42 has an outer peripheral wall 42a facing radially outward, an inner peripheral wall 42b facing radially inward, a pair of side walls 42c connected to the outer peripheral wall 42a and the inner peripheral wall 42b, and a ground wall 42d facing downward, on the outer peripheral wall 42a of each leg part 42 are provided stepped parts 50, 51, 52 which have protruding walls 50a, 51a, 52a gradually spaced outward away from the outer peripheral wall 42a from the upper side toward the lower side, and stepped walls 50b, 51b, 52b extending in the circumferential direction connected to the lower ends of the projecting walls 50a, 51a, 52a and the outer peripheral wall 42a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
