PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a generation of gaseous hydrogen chloride and sulfur dioxide at the time of incinerating and dumping a synthetic resin filter by forming a dust filter used for an air conditioner or a dust collector by using a filter medium formed with a synthetic resin fiber in which an activated iron oxide is stuck on a surface of a base stock.
SOLUTION: The activated iron oxide is stuck to the surface of the filter medium formed by laminating or weaving a fiber base stock, and the filter medium is formed by using such a fiber base stock, and the synthetic resin filter is formed by using the filter medium. The synthetic resin filter is constituted with the multilayered filter medium in which the filter medium in which the activated iron oxide is stuck or incorporated at its inside is held in sandwich. At the time of production, the activated iron oxide is mixed with a dispersant and a binder to make a sticking liq., and the sticking liq. is sprayed on the surface of the filter medium formed by laminating or weaving the synthetic resin fiber to stick the activated iron oxide, and filter medium formed with the synthetic resin fiber on which the activated iron oxide is stuck is formed in filter shape.
