Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the effect of discharging electricity, by a method wherein space parts are formed on the bottom side of a mat in that direction by supports, through- opening parts are formed on the upper side of the mat, and static electricity generated on the soles of shoes is discharged by fitting conductive material into the space parts.
CONSTITUTION: When a person walks on the flooring consisting of products 1 molded out of synthetic resin, static electricity accumulates on the soles of person's shoes by friction. When the soles approach conductive material 2 consisting of carbon felt fitted into space parts 5 of the products 1, the soles discharge the static electricity by corona discharge, through opening parts 3. Since the material 2 is fitted into the opening parts 3 so as to fill the opening parts 3 on a mat 1a, it is made easy that the material 2 approaches the soles, and since covers do not exist, the effect of discharging the electricity heightens. Since the material 2 in monoblock shape, which is continuously made along the space parts 5, can be set-up in the space parts 5, the material 2 can be easily produced. Furthermore, since the material 2 is set-up on the bottom side of the mat 1a, the material 2 is not scattered by wind and is not caught by the tip of the shoe. In this way, the mat 1a can be improved both for the function of discharging the static electricity and for the walkability, and can be easily produced.
