Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a synthetic resin pipe joint incorporating a function for preventing leakage of water and come-off a synthetic resin pipe fitted in and coupled with a receiving port of the joint due to insufficient coating of adhesive or insufficient press-fitting between the joint and the pipe.
CONSTITUTION: An axial slit 4 is formed in one end part of a receiving port 1a of a synthetic resin pipe joint 1, and a receiving port diameter reducing means A for reducing the diameter of the receiving port 1a in a direction in which the width of the slit 4 decreases is provided.
