PURPOSE: To automatically determine corresponding combination relations between sentences by selecting combination relations to relations of each sentence by matching preliminarily set and stored combination relations.
CONSTITUTION: A simple sentence generating part 21 uses a fixed-form sentence from an inputted fixed-form sentence data base(DB) 24 to generate one simple sentence of one information. A connection relation determining part 22 refers to data in a connection relation DB 25 between sentence patterns to determine collection relations between sentences in accordance with the inputted sentence pattern. An inter-sentence combination relation determining part 23 uses inter- sentence connection relations, the tense, and state information of operation to determine inter-sentence combination relations. That is, the inter-sentence combination relation determining part 23 refers to a connection rule DB 26 to determine combination relations corresponding to connection relations, tense information of sentences, state information of operation, etc. Fixed-form sentences prepared for each subject in the applied field are preliminarily stored in the fixed-form sentence DB 24.
