To reduce the size of waste water treatment facilities and the amount of sludge produced, and to improve in efficiency of energy.
Present system is provided with a bio gasification apparatus 1, gas utilizing facilities 2 and waste water treating facilities 4. The waste water treating facilities 4 for treating the waste liquid discharged from the bio gasification apparatus 1 are comprised of performing the treatment by means of a water treating apparatus 5 of the type of UASB(Up-flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket). By treating the waste liquid by means of the water treating apparatus 5 of the type of UASB, the volume of the waste water treating facilities can be made compacted than conventional one because of not necessity of addition of dilution water and because of shorter retention time. Further, because of anaerobic treatment of the water treating apparatus 5 of the type of UASB, an energy of power for aeration of conventional aerobic treatment is not necessary, and the amount of sludge produced is reduced.
