To reduce a transient current at the time of system interconnection by utilizing a capacitor for improving an existing power factor and installing the capacitor for improving a power factor into a feeding system before installing an induction generator.
In a closing control circuit, a 30m sec timer and five 10m sec timers are connected in series, and a composite closing operation circuit for closing and opening use is provided in each of six capacitors for improving a power factor. Since all of the composite closing operation circuits are identical, the circuit constitution of a composite closing operation circuit 14 is exemplified on behalf of them. When a current flows into either of the closing circuit 14-1 and the opening circuit 14-2 of the composite closing operation circuit 14, so that either of a closing coil 14b and an opening coil 14f is excited, a switch is closed or opened, so that a capacitor for improving a power factor is connected to a system or disconnected from it. Therefore, a transient current can be suppressed only by once closing the capacitor at the time of system interconnection by utilizing an existing phase advance capacitor group.
