Abstract:
To provide a system that promptly executes switching from an operating system to a standby system.SOLUTION: A system includes: a first physical machine on which a first virtual machine operates; and a second physical machine on which a second virtual machine operates. According to this system, the first virtual machine is taken as an operating system, while the second virtual machine is taken as a standby system. The first physical machine transmits, to the second physical machine, information on a change in resource caused by running the first virtual machine as resource difference information. The second physical machine reflects the resource difference information on the resource of the second virtual machine, and recovers the second virtual machine on which the resource difference information is reflected when a system switching is necessary.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
