To provide a system capable of always smoothly starting a vehicle even if the weight of the vehicle changes significantly.
The system for controlling fuel supply to an engine includes a control unit for conducting selective communication with a throttle sensor of the engine. The control unit is structured to obtain an estimated weight of the vehicle, receives a signal from the throttle sensor, and detects that a high throttle demand determined if a throttle position exceeds a predetermined position for the engine has reached a high target engine speed, when the vehicle is started. The control unit adjusts a default high throttle ramp rate in connection with an engine speed based on the estimated weight of the vehicle if the high throttle demand is detected.
