PURPOSE: To enable taking-over at the time of restarting the host of job control information or to enable referring to or changing from respective host computers by generating a job control information file in a shared device which is con nected to the plural host computers.

CONSTITUTION: The host computers 1 and 2 are connected to the shared device having the job control information file 100. The host computer 1 generates system generation information 11 at the time of generating a system and a job control information taking-over means 12 generates the job control information file 100 by a job control information file generating means 15. A job control information refer request receiving part 13 refers to the job control information file 100 by a job control information file referring means 16. A job control information change request receiving part 14 changes the job control information file 100 by a job control information file changing means 17.
