Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the equalizer for digital mobile communication equipment capable of correcting the phase of each reception signal to the reference phase even when the change amount of the phase rotation of a received signal differs remarkably through one burst.
CONSTITUTION: The frequency offset of the received signal which belongs to the block is estimated from the received signal which divides one bu'?st into plural blocks. For example, phase rotation cos θA and sin θA per one symbol which is obtained from the average value of the phase rotation over NT time of time 0 to time (N-1) and the phase rotation cosθB and sinθB per one symbol obtained from the average value of the phase rotation over NT time of time-(N-1) to time 0 are taken as the frequency offset estimate value. The frequency offset of the received signal which belongs to the block is corrected by using the frequency offset estimate value which is estimated for each block. Thus, the phase of each received signal can be corrected to the reference phase even when the change amount of the phase rotation differs greatly through one burst.
