To provide a system for facilitating demounting of a rear and a forward end portions of a packing film from a cargo placed in a packing station and the mounting of the packing film on a following cargo placed in the same station.

The system 10 has an actuating arm 44 movable between a contraction position and an extension position, and a fixed tightening plate 52 and a movable tightening plate 54 are disposed on the actuating arm 44. These tightening plates are relatively moved and regulate a closed position and an open position. When a packing operation is finished, the actuating arm 44 moves from the contraction position to the extension position, and during this period, the tightening plates 52 and 54 move to the closed position so as to tighten a part of a packing film. An electric current is caused to flow to a high-temperature wire cutting means 72 to cut a part of the tightened film. A rear end portion of the packing film is released to be stuck to a cargo, and a forward end portion of the packing film is held between the tightening plates 52 and 54 in preparation for being stuck to a following cargo.
