A server program 8 that is a control program specific to a server device 3 is installed in and works on the server device 3 to make two-way communication with a client program 11 working on one or more client devices 10 via a communication line 9. A client execution program 6 that has been downloaded onto and executed by the client device on request of the client program 11 and a server execution program 7 executed by the server device and installed in the server device 3 in addition to the server program 8, and distributed processing is applied to the received facsimile text.
