Also, the current throughput is compared with the presumed throughput of handoff destination in the case of selecting handoff destination, and when it is estimated that the throughput is improved, processing of handoff is performed. The radio terminal incorporates a plurality of pieces of communication equipment and performs the selection processing of the handoff destination while communicating with the current radio system.
